National media outlet The Patch named The Asbury as best hotel restaurant in their article “The Best Food and Drink in North Carolina for 2019.” The Asbury nestles beside our sister property, The Dunhill Hotel in Uptown Charlotte. We believe our focus on local ingredients and our seasonal menu influenced our selection.
Thrillist List Drills Down Into Charlotte’s Best Restaurants
The Thrillist included The Asbury in their article on the best restaurants in Charlotte. Writer Erin Breeden appreciates the “upscale, modern twist that helps it stand out from the classics.” They “can’t wait to see what Chef Long will bring to the table (figuratively and literally)”.
How ‘Bout a Tomato Sandwich For Lunch?
Local readers received a peek at the new summer tomato sandwich on the lunch menu by Charlotte Five. @CLTHousewives influencer, Kristen enjoyed a fabulous staycation at The Dunhill Hotel. Because she’s part of the national Housewives in the City network, her blog was picked up in Seattle and several cities across the country. On her overnight at the hotel, she enjoyed “Friday night out” dinner at The Asbury. “I ordered a large glass of red wine and the NC Beef Blackboard…I will never turn down a great piece of steak!” Follow her on instagram at @CLTHousewives.
