The Dunhill Hotel Celebrates 95 Years of Legacy and Holiday Cheer with Festive Events & Special Offers

This November, The Dunhill Hotel, a timeless Charlotte landmark, proudly celebrates its 95th anniversary with a spectacular array of 1920s-themed and holiday events and offerings. With nods to our building’s opening in 1929, The Dunhill is the place to be this holiday season.

The Dunhill Hotel, located at the corner of Tryon & Sixth in uptown Charlotte, will celebrate its 95th anniversary with November events like:

  • A Toast to 95 Years: On Wednesday, November 13, guests and visitors are invited to gather at the bar in The Dunhill’s historic lobby for a complimentary sparkling wine toast to commemorate this landmark’s rich 95-year history. Charlotte’s own Tom Billotto will accompany the evening with live acoustic guitar music, 5-7 p.m. The toast will take place at 6 p.m. and all are welcome.
  • The 1929, a signature cocktail available at The Dunhill Bar in its historic lobby. It’s a festive take on a classic Old Fashioned with flavors or peppermint, maple and chocolate and will be available November 1-December 30.
  • Cocktails & Cuisine Class: A Taste of 1929: Step back in time with our next Cocktails & Cuisine Class, where our cocktail specialist Eric will teach guests to craft cocktails from the Prohibition era, in celebration of The Dunhill’s 95th anniversary. Three historic cocktails will be paired with bites from The Asbury’s culinary team. Taking place on Saturday, November 23, this intimate experience is $55 per person. Book class here.
  • “Some Like It Hot” Pre-Show Dinner: Coinciding with The Dunhill Hotel’s 95th anniversary, the Tony Award-winning musical “Some Like It Hot” will play at Belk Theater November 26 through December 1. The Dunhill’s modern Southern restaurant, The Asbury, will offer a three-course pre-show dinner menu inspired by the show, which takes place in Prohibition-era Chicago. Learn more about the show.
  • Thanksgiving Dinner: Thanksgiving at The Asbury is a modern Southern feast incorporating favorite fall flavors.
